The Relationship between CC Ligand 5 Plasma Levels and Modic Changes in Low Back Pain Patients’ Severity

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is one of the global health problems. The most common cause LBP disc degeneration. Modic changes (MC) are MRI features in patients with As a result cartilage and tissue damage, CCL 5 released modulates responses dorsal root ganglion. This study aims to determine relationship between CCL5 levels description on low pain.
 Methods: cross-sectional study. research subjects were who treated at Neurology Polyclinic, Dr. M. Djamil General Hospital, Padang, range March 2021-December 2021, meets inclusion exclusion criteria. Subjects will be taken blood assess plasma levels, assessment using McGill Pain Questionnaire, undergo an examination.
 Results: A total 52 consisted 23 men 29 women age 34-77 years. Most found type 2 group. Based scale, there two groups mild moderate pain. On examination median value was 303,271 ng/L. There significant (p = 0.004). no severity Conclusion: Plasma associated pain, while not severity.
